Suicide Training Instructions

CERTIFIED EMPLOYEE INSTRUCTIONS
(Teachers and Administrators)

1. Right click on this link and choose open in new window: CERTIFIED EMPLOYEE SUICIDE TRAINING

2. In the middle of the page, you will see courses... under courses click the first link...2018-2019 National Version.

3. You will then create a new account.

4. You will be sent a confirmation email.

5. Once you confirm your password. You will click enroll     
    me.

6. You will then complete the pre-evaluation, introduction,
    modules 1-4, and the post evaluation.

7. Print the certificate.

8. Complete the Suicide Training form by Digitally Signing your name and clicking submit.


NON CERTIFIED EMPLOYEE INSTRUCTIONS (Teacher Assistants, Bus Drivers, Cafeteria Workers, etc)

1. Right click on this link and choose open in new window: NON-CERTIFIED EMPLOYEE SUICIDE TRAINING

2. Select the Get Involved-Blue Tab at the top of the screen, move down to Educator, Youth Worker, Coach, and move over to Professional Development Series and click on it.

3. On the Professional Development Series Page scroll down to the end of the page and click on "click here to create an account".

4. Click on Register Now and once on the Training Module Registration Page complete all the required information and click submit.

5. On the My Courses Page click on Two Hour Courses.

6. On the My Courses Page under Youth Suicide: "A Silent Epidemic" Module 5 (2hrs)...Click on View Course

7. On the Youth Suicide: "A Silent Epidemic" (Module 5) Page...Click on Take the Course

8. On the Youth Suicide: "A Silent Epidemic" (Module 5) Page...Click on Youth Suicide: "A Silent Epidemic" : Chapter 1

9. Work through Chapters 1-5, Review, and Quiz

10. Once Quiz is completed...Print Certificate at the end of Training at the top of the page labeled Certificates (Gray Tab)

11. Complete the Suicide Training form by Digitally Signing your name and clicking submit.
